Come buy, repair, or register your bicycle to protect it against theft!
Alongside the Wazemmes residents’ street market, a much-loved neighborhood event returns this year: the bicycle flea market. On Saturday, September 5, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Place de la Nouvelle Aventure will host a large sale of second-hand bicycles and spare parts—the perfect opportunity to find your next bike at a bargain price or pick up some accessories for your two-wheeler. Among the participants, ADAV-Droit au Vélo et à la marche will run a stand promoting active mobility and offer a BicyCode bicycle registration service to help prevent theft (special rate of €6). La Maison des Mobilités Durables will also be there to provide visitors with information and advice about cycling and the sustainable transportation options available in Lille. The Montévélo and Les Jantes du Nord associations will help you with minor bicycle repairs.
