A Jazz event at the Club de L'Aéronef
Rejecting jazz conventions, trumpeter daoud breaks the mold, appealing to curious newcomers and purists alike. Sounds and textures blend together: jazz, house, drum'n'bass, rock, and afrobeat. A thoroughly contemporary, globally inspired style of music, full of contrasts and surprises, performed live as a quartet. Opening the show are Mathis Uraï and Joachim Dumont, both steeped in groove from an early age and graduates of the Conservatoire de Jazz. Their music is energetic, mesmerizing, and refined.
