Event organized as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a discussion theater event is organized to raise public awareness about breast cancer, the importance of screening, and the need to take care of one's health. Through a theatrical performance blending emotion, humor, and reflection, this event will offer another way to approach a health topic that can sometimes be difficult to discuss. The actors will stage everyday situations, allowing everyone to identify themselves, reflect, and speak freely. The performance will be followed by a discussion with the audience, in the presence of Dr Marie-Pierre Chauvet, head of the breast cancer unit at Oscar Lambret Cancer Center. This special moment will be an opportunity to provide information about screening, risk factors, support services, and available resources. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a month of mobilization, but awareness and screening are issues that concern us year-round. Tuesday, October 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. City Hall of Lille-South - 83 Rue du Faubourg des Postes Booking recommended at [email protected] To learn more about the Breast Cancer Awareness Month program, click here .
