Tuesday, November 10 at 12pm, ALEC Montpellier Métropole invites you to visit the construction site of an apartment building undergoing renovation: the Le Rodin co-ownership. If energy renovation work is under discussion or planned in your co-ownership, this is an opportunity to observe a construction site! # Insulate to Consume Less
This co-owned building of 221 units built in 1973 is continuing its comprehensive energy renovation project. This approach aims to combine various types of work into a single large project in order to limit disruption for residents, reduce overall costs, and benefit from substantial subsidies. Planned work includes: facade renovation with external thermal insulation, waterproofing and insulation of flat roofs, insulation of underside of floors, installation of hybrid humidity-controlled type A ventilation, replacement of windows and doors in common areas, and elevator replacement. Thanks to this comprehensive renovation, the building will achieve an estimated energy gain of approximately 70%, with the energy rating improving from E to B.
Construction Site Visit
Work is ongoing. This visit is an ideal opportunity to see the energy renovation take shape in practice and observe its key stages on-site. Whether you are a co-owner, member of a residents' council, or property manager, you will be able to see the work completed, understand the technical choices, and ask all your questions. The various project stakeholders and advisors from ALEC Montpellier will be available to answer all your questions about the work or project financing.
