Exhibition from September 9 to October 10, 2026 // Opening reception on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. L’ARTOTHÈQUE NANTAISE, founded in 1986, has expanded over the years and now offers an innovative approach to making art accessible under the name Artdelivery. This contemporary art collection comprises nearly 900 original works—one-of-a-kind pieces, editions, prints, paintings on paper, photographs, videos, and more—by 465 French and international artists, including former students of the Beaux-arts de Nantes and other art schools. It holds a unique place among French art-lending libraries, having been incorporated into the école des Beaux-Arts Nantes Saint-Nazaire in 2010. Its acquisition policy focuses on its graduates, highlighting those who contribute to the history of the Beaux-Arts de Nantes. LE PAVILLON, a visual arts venue located in an annex of the Maison de quartier Bottière, is an experimental space run by the association TWO POINTS. Opened in 2020, this hybrid venue brings together professional and amateur artistic practices through a creative space, an exhibition space, and an artist residency program. Once a year, LE PAVILLON’s program presents a selection of works from public collections. The selection for the À voir #6 exhibition was curated by residents of the Bottière Pin Sec neighborhood: Pascal Josse, a retired cemetery gardener for the Ville de Nantes, Martine Mothes, also known as Tinalove, and Savia Hassini, reporters from mediappartement. They present 9 artists, 9 worlds, and 9 works from the ARTDELIVERY collection, inviting visitors to discover the stories behind each piece on display.
