In the immersive live club of Communale St-Ouen, the stage transforms into a zone of mutation, a space where artistic forms move, rub against each other, and reinvent themselves. Designed to host projects that take the time to establish atmospheres and shift references, the club becomes the ideal ground for performances that play with space, the body, and perception. This evening is part of this logic of exploration and porosity between disciplines.
Guy Brewer is an artist defined by exploration, evolving at the margins of electronic music to blur boundaries and challenge expectations. In 2023, after leaving Berlin for Antwerp, he abandons his alias Shifted and fully dedicates himself to creating a new project under the name Carrier. With a background as a producer marked by constant exploration and reinvention, this project distills the influences of the golden age of drum & bass, dub techno, and experimental electronics into a unified approach that prioritizes space, simplicity, and atmosphere over genre adherence. ---- Panchronics is the first of an audio-visual and choreographic performance project conceived by visual artist Camille Giunti (Fatale Furylax), composer and sound artist Eloi Pétillon (Trois-Quarts Taxi System), and dancer Paola Petit-Brisson. The theme of the live performance is based on a narrative inspired by so-called panchronic species whose stories resonate with our practices of distorting realities, creating landscapes, and surreal images.
