Release of the album: Unfolding Tiles (Fuga Libera - 2026).
Mosaïc is a group of six musicians from Bulgaria, France, Portugal, and Tunisia. Their compositions are primarily musical meeting spaces, at the crossroads of jazz and Mediterranean music. From contemporary grooves to the sounds of the Bulgarian kaval and accordion, passing through the woody tones of the double bass and cello, the group explores imaginations and intertwines traditions like a mosaic. The composition, collective and oral, finds its subtlety in the detail of each voice, making oral creation a new space for orchestration. After being welcomed for creation residencies across the Mediterranean, Mosaïc presents its first album on the Fuga Libera label, carrying the inspiration drawn from various places of travel and encounters. Adèle Viret, cello Noé Clerc, accordion Georgi Dobrev, kaval Zé Almeida: double bass Hamdi Jammoussi: percussion Diogo Alexandre: drums
