Contemporary green spaces on slabs and in the ground
04/30/26 10:30 AM Contemporary Gardens of the Grands Moulins District The small slab garden, Cyprien Norwid, showcases beautiful blooms in white and blue hues. The gardens of the Grands Moulins, planted with native species, present a plant palette typical of wet meadows. The collection of rainwater is the major innovation in the site's development. Collected from the roofs of neighboring buildings and in the gardens, the water is treated and then stored in an underground tank of 700 m3, used for watering the garden. The proximity of the Seine fosters ecological connections between the green framework and the blue framework of the city. Meeting point: entrance of the Cyprien Norwid garden at the corner of Grands Moulins and des Cadets de la France Libre streets
