It's often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but sometimes we need to put words to the pictures.
The Ateliers is a place where languages, discovery, and creativity come together. An open space where people come as much to learn as to discover, practice, and share. The gatherings welcome you to the Ateliers library in the early evening to open a discussion on November's theme: photography. The bicentennial of photography is now under way—from Nicéphore Niépce's Le point de vue du Gras in 1826 to the ease of a camera lens in everyone's pocket today, the history of this practice keeps being written. Come and share with our community the snapshots that have left their mark on your life and imagination. Let's talk together about photographers, techniques, and iconic images.
Price: This event is free; please confirm your attendance by registering.
