À propos

A series of musical events celebrating the repertoire of Mino Malan, composer of La Machine Company

A series of highlights

When spring is "La", the experience of La Machine unfolds in music. Brass, violins, voices, and percussion: as nature begins to sing again, 6 ensembles and several hundred musicians will come in May and June to make the Halle de La Machine resonate, under the baton of Mino Malan, composer and conductor of La Machine Company.

Experiments'Halle

Sunday, May 3, from 10 AM to 6 PM
With the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Bayonne
About a hundred students from the percussion, violin, trombone, and trumpet classes of the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional Maurice Ravel Pays Basque in Bayonne will take over the Halle de La Machine with their instruments... and a whole experimental setup crafted by themselves. They will concoct a rich program: luminous percussion, atomic violins, funk and rock pieces, contemporary and percussive works, mechanical symphony... The day before, in the afternoon, some students from the Conservatoire and their teachers will improvise in dialogue with the musical bestiary of the Mechanical Symphony.

Music'Halle Weekend

From Friday, May 23 to Monday, May 25, from 10 AM to 6 PM
With the real machinist musicians and Mino Malan
A long weekend of music at the heart of the mechanical bestiary. Singing, rhythm, and emotion... It's going to swing!

Halle Percute

Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31, from 10 AM to 6 PM
With Mino Malan and Sébastien Gisbert
The percussive Occitanie gathers to vibrate, in concert, the mechanical bestiary: the percussion classes from the music school of the Artistic Association of Railway Workers of Toulouse (AACT), the Conservatoire of Toulouse, the Conservatoire of Pau, that of Limoux, ISDAT, as well as Play Music all come together in the Halle de La Machine. Marimbas, drums, Asian percussion, or machines from the Mechanical Symphony, this assembly of musicians takes ownership of all the instruments to give rhythm to the plants of the Aéroflorale II.

Halle in Voice

Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, from 10 AM to 6 PM
With the choir of the Atelier Sonore, musical direction by Jessie Brenac-Litzinger and Mino Malan
The 80 singers of the Atelier Sonore Choir will set the "La" for a new "Halle in Voice" weekend. Ranging in age from 7 to 77, they will take hold of the new installation of the Aéroflorale II and enchant it, under the musical direction of Jessie Brenac-Litzinger and the composer and conductor of La Machine Company.

Halle in Fanfare

Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, from 10 AM to 6 PM
With Mino Malan and the collective Fanfarnaüm
About a hundred fanfare musicians will invade the mechanical bestiary, with drums and trumpets. Some of them will take ownership of Mino Malan's repertoire, while others prepare for a wild fanfare battle on the Giants' Track.

The Halle Goes Wild

Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28, from 1 PM to 6 PM
With the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse, Mino Malan, Laurence Meinsterlin, and Agnès Demeulenaere
The 90 students from the percussion, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, flute, violin, double bass classes, as well as theater, choir, and dance will come together to perform compositions by Mino Malan. Between encounters with the Minotaur, phytomusicology with the plants of the Aéroflorale II, and sound accompaniment of the Lunch of the Little Mechanics, the entire Great Impro' will be colored by the arts of the Toulouse Conservatoire.
