Conceived by the Sozinho association, this immersive, temporary artistic experience puts artists at the heart of a route to explore across three houses in the Barrière de Paris neighborhood. A temporary cultural venue Created by artists Imer and Xano Martinez, and led by the Sozinho association, Miroir Miroir is an immersive, temporary cultural venue that transforms three houses into spaces for artistic creation. The project is part of the artistic momentum of Sozinho, a Toulouse-based cultural association active since 2009. After the success of Babayaga, led by the Salade Suprême collective in Saint‑Cyprien, Miroir Miroir continues the adventure: houses slated for demolition open up for a brief interlude, thanks to an occupancy agreement with European Homes, to become places of creation, encounters, and shared emotion. Designed as a journey to experience, the project is open to everyone and offers a sensitive, accessible experience rooted in Toulouse’s cultural landscape. Two houses host immersive exhibitions dedicated to artists from the graffiti scene: Imer transforms a former abandoned house into a retro‑futuristic world blending painting, scenography, and repurposed objects, inspired by urban culture and travel. Xano Martínez, a Toulouse-based digital arts artist, presents an interactive cabinet of curiosities where light and sound come alive through contact with visitors. The third house is dedicated to collective creation, workshops, and meetings. Conceived as an experiment, Miroir Miroir gives artists a space of freedom and invites the public to explore the works at their own pace, with no set route.
