Although the park extends well beyond the city, this information office located right in the center is the ideal gateway for preparing your hikes. Here you will find detailed maps and advice from rangers to explore the surrounding valleys. The building's architecture offers a pleasant contrast to the bustle of Rue d'Italie.
Departmental Natural Park of Lac du Broc

This is my favorite refuge when the heat becomes stifling on the Promenade. With its century-old umbrella pines and shaded pathways, Mont Boron offers relative coolness. You can access it via the funicular railway or on foot. The view of the Bay of Angels from the heights of the park is spectacular, especially at sunset.
Patisserie Lac
After your walk, make a delicious stop. This Nice institution, located near Albert 1er Gardens, is worth the detour for its modern creations. Prices are high, but the quality of ingredients and the finesse of the presentations justify the investment. Try their famous lemon tart or seasonal éclairs.
Castle Hill (Colline du Château)
Essential and unmissable. Access is via a free elevator from the port or a steep staircase if you want a workout. At the top, the park offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the Mediterranean and the rooftops of the old town.
