Raise your employees' awareness with the Workplace Road Safety Days Published on May 6, 2026 - Entreprendre Service Public / Direction de l'information légale et administrative (Prime Minister's Office)
To prevent road accidents occurring in the course of work, Sécurité routière is organizing the Workplace Road Safety Days from May 18 to 22, 2026.

In a professional context, road accidents are the leading cause of death.
Moreover, they account for more than 4 million lost working days.
To raise awareness of road risks, the Workplace Road Safety Days enable employers to use the following resources:
-
videos and podcasts;
-
interactive activities;
-
review of the highway code;
-
social media kits;
-
interactive quizzes;
Organizing awareness programs
The Workplace Road Safety Days apply to all businesses (micro-enterprises, SMEs, large companies).
Employers can thus organize the following programs to raise their employees' awareness of road dangers:
-
a week of email-based awareness: watching the conference "Living Together in the Public Road Space" + a daily email for 5 days covering 5 factors in road accidents (phone use, alcohol, drugs, speed, cycling);
-
a half-day remote exchange session: watching the conference "Living Together in the Public Road Space" + discussion time + interactive quizzes on the highway code;
-
a dedicated week: introduction to the theme by a facilitator-prevention officer + prevention activities (presentation and discussions) over 5 days focusing on 5 factors in road accidents (phone use, alcohol, drugs, speed, cycling, and motorized two-wheelers).
