Following the rise in fuel prices, aid aimed at reducing the cost of diesel has been introduced. It applies to companies in the construction and public works sector with no more than 20 employees. These companies must have annual revenue of less than 50 million euros, and their balance sheet total must not exceed 43 million euros. They must also not have unpaid tax debts exceeding €1,500.

This subsidy amounts to 20 euro cents per liter of non-road diesel. The diesel must have been invoiced between May 1 and May 31, 2026 inclusive. This aid will be capped at €4,000 per company.

To benefit from it, companies must submit an application using a form on the impots.gouv.fr website between June 8 and July 3, 2026 inclusive.

Aid granted in excess of €600 must be repaid if the gross operating surplus: titleContent for the fiscal year including May 2026 is:

  • and greater than or equal to 98% of that of the previous fiscal year.
