How to pay your 2026 property tax?
1/ Your property tax amount exceeds 300 €
You have several payment methods available:
-
Online payment on the tax authority website in your Public Finances space (with your notice and bank details for first online payment).
-
Online payment via internet, smartphone, or tablet using the QR code on the first page of your notice. Simply download the impots.gouv app for free, scan the code, and confirm your payment. The amount will be deducted from your bank account at least 10 days after the payment deadline (you will be informed of the deduction date when registering your payment order). You can also choose to have the amount deducted from your bank account 3 days after registering your online payment. The exact deduction date will then be specified.
-
Automatic deduction at deadline. It is automatically renewed each year unless you object. You will be notified before the deduction. The amount will be deducted from your bank account 10 days after the payment deadline. You can enroll in automatic deduction at deadline until the last day of the month before the payment deadline: on the tax authority website; or by phone Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 7pm at 0809 401 401 (non-premium call).
For the October 15, 2026 deadline, you can enroll in automatic deduction until September 30. After this deadline, your enrollment will only be taken into account for the 2027 deadline.
